Richard, Nancy, Philip and Rachel left Tulsa to vacation in the Washington, DC area in mid-July.  They visited with Richard's siblings, his mother and spent some time with me.  We spent a very pleasant day visiting Gettysburg.  While there, we visited the monument of the cavalry regiment my great-grandfather, Martin Ficken, served in during the Civil War.  Afterwards, Dell served us a delicious dinner at her house.

I plan to add more family information in the near future.  I would like to incorporate contributions from other family members.
