Mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, Dagmar Marguerite Ficken died in her sleep at about 7:30am April 11, 1998.
She had suffered from congestive heart failure for many years. She had been a resident at Citizens Nursing Home in Frederick, MD since June 1997. She is survived by my sister, Dolores Soga, myself, 5 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
She rests now with my father, Norman L. Ficken, in Pinelawn Memorial Park in Farmingdale, NY. He was born February 12, 1899 and died on February 7, 1986 just shy of his 87th birthday. He was an accountant with the Commercial Union Assurance Company until his retirement. He suffered with alzheimers for several years before his death.
We miss you both.
